The setting of the novel is Kilfenora House which is sadly fictional. Very real in the novel though!
It’s located somewhere in Co. Wicklow, which is also a part of Ireland that Sam Blake is very familiar with so you can tell that she has been and knows the place well and is able to describe all its nuances.
