Night Shadows in Akranes
The small town of Akranes is in the West of Iceland, north up the coast from Reykjavik. Akranes is a town developed and still dependant on the fishing industry. This remains the town’s most important source of employment.
In this novel it appears dark, remote and chilling in many ways. A house fire raises questions and there are small incidents that raise suspicion around the town. This is somewhere where everyone knows your name.
