What you need to know before your trail

There’s always something very interesting about a book which gives you a unique view of a well known location. Paris not for Parents does more than that – it gives you several unique, gory, grisly and bizarre facts about Paris you’ll never forget. Eiffel tower seem too boring or touristy? It won’t after this. Fancy seeing the inside out building? Yup, it really exists and you’ll see it in a new light after this.
It says it’s not a guidebook – it’s not  – it’s an insider tip book which gives you the quirky lowdown on the city and is great for children but just as well for those adults who manage to get their hands on one.

Travel Guide

As a child, what would you want to know about Paris? A building built inside out? The fact that there’s a hotel for dogs, there’s loads of dead bodies under the very ground you walk on ( well skeletons but you get the idea), people eat some very strange food there and the fact that a beach arrives in the middle of the city as if by magic each year.
A wander around these sights and more will make for a very quirky and fascinating tour of the famous city. This is the way to see things – with the enthusiasm of a child with their natural sense of wonder and curiosity and sense of picking out the most gory and funny things.
From the Mona Lisa who smiles at more than 6 million people  a year to the bones under the ground in the famous Catacombs, this is travelling at its best.

Booktrailer Review

Susan:

How I love these books. There’s a few in the series and I have to admit to buying them for myself as an adult as they are so imaginative and fun. I’ve shared them of course, I mean, they are for kids, but I always want to keep them. They’ve inspired several children I know and Many have been given as presents over the years as I like to think that this kind of book could really inspire someone to read and travel more. Even someone like me who is slightly the wrong side of the ideal age range. Ahem.
