She cycles from Cherbourg down the West coast of France to Pau, then across the Limoges and back up to Paris via places such as Lyon, Dijon and Reims in the serach for good food and the perfect croissant.
It’s like the tour of France with croissants – in fact that’s exactly what it is. At the end of each ‘stage’ of the tour, the book is peppered with recipes and the best and worst croissants are given ‘awards.
There’s some lovely places dotted around France and some wonderful gastro experiences! This book will make you hungry and make you eat but at least you can work it off on your bicycle.
