The 2011 Norway attacks

On 22 July 2011, a lone gunman by the name of Anders Behring Breivik set off a bomb in Oslo against the government, the civilian population, and then headed to Utoya Island where a Workers’ Youth League (AUF)-run summer camp was being held, where he opened fire on those on the island

The attacks claimed a total of 77 lives.

It was the deadliest attack in Norway since World War II.
