Gradually these four people meet, their stories combine and the secrets of four people on one street merge and mingle on one street in Paris. The street itself a mix of beauty, squalor, animation and desolation.

A typical street in Paris starts to gradually reveal its secrets – each person going through their daily lives, their daily struggles with the same street, the same scenery in the background. The city shines in the background but it’s the people in the foreground you have to watch. How does one street contain such different people? And what would it be like if you could peek behind the blinds or open the door of each one and find out?
This is the novel which allows you to wander what is a long street and allows you to meet people at will and then watch them as their stories and fates intertwine. All whilst you sip a coffee from one of the pavements cafes. People watching in book form!
