Ronda is where modern bullfighting began. Being in the mountains though it is hard to get to and there doesn’t seem to be many fights here now so to see a bullfight, people tend to go elsewhere.
There is a museum in Ronda dedicated to bullfighting in Málaga turismoderonda.es and one in Madrid – much safer and friendly than the real thing – Bullfighting museum – Plaza de Toros de las Ventas in Madrid.
