With the sea breeze on your face and the sparkle of the sand underneath your feet, a holiday on a Caribbean beach could be just what the doctor ordered.
For the bunch of strangers who have signed up to a tour holiday, then this is what they’re hoping for. Well that and perhaps a little romance given that this is a single’s holiday. But can spending time with a group of people you’v never met really lead to a holiday of happiness?
Those that don’t’ become friends, might become enemies or even lovers. Poor Tour Guide Eve – for her there might well be trouble in paradise.
If you can’t feel the sun on your face as you read this novel, there is something wrong with you. There is plenty chance of sunbathing too so be sure to have your towel to hand as you’ll be imagining you’re there from the very first page. You might think the only sign of drama in this little piece of paradise is the sudden and rather dramatic rain storm. But no, this book has the feel that each and every member of the group is a guide of sorts, showing you the paradise setting through their own eyes, and no person sees or even experiences it in the same way.
Like a holiday for real, as you wander around the resort in your mind’s eyes, you meet some people you like, some you don’t and some you definitely know you won’t be wanting to keep in touch with – ie very realistic!
A chapter a day keeps the undesirables on the tour away…. or does it? If you’ve ever fancied your chances of being a tour guide – well this is a good place to start!
