Emma is born into a loving East End family – working class, tightly knit and very close. So when she meets Daniel, with the posh accent and the even posher background, it doesn’t seem as if they will ever find their worlds collide. But feelings don’t respect ‘boundaries’ and the two soon fall in love.

But what about the wedding?  Emma’s family  expect to pay the bill as is custom but pulling together a shoestring wedding when the groom’s family is experiencing something along the lines of a Royal affair.

But the East End is renowned for looking after its own..

Travel Guide

London – East and West

Imagine EastEnders with smiles and sunshine and you will have some idea of what the setting of this novel really is. East meets West and the two London’s come together in ways you might not have expected

Chelsea : The posh West End of London where the Made in Chelsea reality show is filmed. One of the smart pubs they film in is the very nice The Phene which is well worth a visit.

East End – Whitechapel was once The East End’ and is now iconic and not at all the slums it used to be. Emma is from the warm East end where everyone sticks together and there are some fantastic places to visit particularly in Whitechapel – East of the Tower and remember to pop into the old Wiltons music hall to discover the music of the past (and maybe a band for a wedding of your own)

Carlton Square – Imagine getting married in this lush location?
