The village in the novel isn’t mentioned but it’s enough to know that it’s small, everyone knows your name and your business. Outsiders are not really welcome. They are least suspected.
The book club in this novel is unlike any others you might have heard about before. There are some strange characters in this village. The postman is suspicious too – why is he delivering to empty number 1?
