Travel Guide

Castle Wells (fictional)

Anytown, any place really – it’s fictional and not a major setting in story tems. What is the real setting however is every female motorists nightmare – a dark country road in a storm and a car broken down at the side of it.

Cass has been told not to drive here for various reasons and now she tries to hide what she has seen by reporting it anonymously. Yet that night, in that layby comes back to haunt her as she apparently was not the only one there that night. The main character’s mother has dementia and both claustrophobic and hauntingly lonely worlds merge into one nightmare.
