Two women – strangers – board a plane. Different lives, different purposes for their trip.
Three days later, they text their friends the same exact messages about the same man. They say they’ve fallen for handsome stranger Trent McCarthy and are running away with him.
And then the texts go cold, the red flags go up, and the woman are declared missing.
Who’s telling the truth? Who is this Trent, and what has he done with these women? Or, what have they done with him? . . .
From Wisconsin to Atlanta, GA
What a whizz of locations!
Airports, conference centres and the thrill of meeting strangers on planes
Locations here are background rather than main characters but we travel from one to another, airport to another to find ourselves on a trail of the most exciting proportions!
Atlanta is the main one as this is where we meet Trent. The man accused of murdering two women. He heads there after the conference and the friends of the two women get messages from them saying that they are going to Atlanta with this man called Trent. What, both women? At the same time? Both then go missing – what is the truth?
Ironically you will need to spend time in open space, in a park such as this one to clear your head when you realise all the twists and turns in the book!
Boom shakalaaaa!
That’s how you write a thriller inspired by a stranger on a plane. Haha kudos to the author for having a dark thought on a plane and then producing this book from it! I am applauding you right now. What a thrill!
Great from start to finish. POV from three main characters and their friends really messed with my head – in a good way. Who to believe? Haha well that was a twist and a half. It was whip-smart and a whole lot of fun. The fear at the start, the casual hook up and then….hang on a minute, what does this all really mean? I love being blindsided in a novel and I was here!
The cast of characters were brilliant. They put an eye mask on you without you knowing and then when they whip it off, it’s too late, the book is done. The clues were there but I missed so many. And I am pleased I did. Even the ones I thought I guessed, I hadn’t achieved the twisted evilness that the author had.
Bravo and I will be VERY worried about talking to strangers on planes now….
