WW2: A true story of the love between humans and animals even during the horrors of war
Based on real events, this is the story of a Jewish girl during WWII and what happens when a group of stray cats help her most unexpected ways.
She is poor and has escaped the Jewish ghetto to live with her sister wherever they can be together but she feels sorry for the cats who have obviously been abandoned as so many pets at the time were. She tries to smuggle food with her sister for the people back in the ghetto but realises that the Gestapo are aware of the plan. Somehow and with the cats helping, they may just be able to save the day.
