But there was no snow. No avalanche. Just her warm, cozy bedroom in Glensay Lodge, where the remains of a fire danced in the hearth and darkness of the endless winter night shone black through a gap in the curtains.
She loves living in the Scottish Highlands and calls it a land of mist and mountains, of lochs and legends.
Glensay might be fictional but it’s a very picturesque village that often ressembles Narnia in some ways as it can get cut off during heavy snow. This is however a very close knit, supportive community and where the girls were brought up. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else – sometimes good news, sometimes not!
Glencoe is on the map as the name is similar and plus it’s a lovely and very famous Scottish village!
