The fictional castle in the novel is close to the iconic and very real route through Burgundy known as The rue des Grand crus. You can’t miss this route but search for the castle, and sadly you won’t see it. HOWEVER, there are plenty of castles in the region to choose from. Imagine stopping by the side of the road, book in hand, and looking at a castle where it all happens in the novel.
