1996: Freya and Josephine are best friends, attending Greenwood Hall Boarding school and destined for great things. Josephine in particular is on track for greatness as she is highly intelligent, has been chosen as head girl and looks set to win a scholarship. But appearances are not always what they seem. Then they go for a night out and things change for ever.
2014: Years later Josephine is an unfulfilled adult, working a job she doesn’t enjoy. something went very wrong with her life. Then she gets a call from Freya, looking to talk about something that happened all those years ago

Boarding school is unique in the fact that you can’t ever really escape your friends and fellow pupils. You study together, sleep in close quarters, spend your free time together,and form an impression of life inside a bubble..Josephine and Freya and trapped in one place, with a bond which will pull them together and thrust them apart.
An all girls boarding school can be fraught with tensions, high, high tensions, petty jealousies and act like a magnifying glass on the minutiae of life . The expectation of the girls there is to go to Oxford and the path is all laid out in front of them. If they decide to take it, that is.
