Why a Booktrail?

2000s:They share a flat, they share a bed, but they’ve never met…
Tiffy Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they’re crazy, but it’s the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy’s at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time.
But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly-imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven’t met yet, they’re about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rulebook out the window…
Although set in the Stockwell area of London, there’s not really any locations as such for a booktrail. What there is however is a setting we can all share and smile at, cry and maybe even cringe a little.
This is the world of trying to find accommodation in London when you’re twenty something trying to navigate a job, rent and relationships. Leon works nights and is away during the weekends so the flatmates don’t actually see each other, but they start to get to know one another by the notes they leave each other.
A very modern romcom for the flatshare age!
