It’s fair to say that Flick has had a terrible year. Her beloved father died, she had the wedding of her dreams and only hours after the ceremony her husband ran out on her.
Brenda, fed up with her daughter living like a hermit, decides to drag Flick off to France to stay in a chateau. What could be better than an idyllic escape?
But when they arrive Flick discovers the chateau is all but abandoned.
The only upside of her French escape is the handsome and mysterious neighbour, Nate.
Nate loves his life living in the cottage on the grounds of the abandoned chateau but that is about to be put in jeopardy…

Brittany
A bit of a time away in Brittany really is what you need when life is not going well. So, Felicity is taken to a grand house, ramshackle but still grand enough in order to rest and relax. The castle and setting is sadly ficitonal BUT there are many castles to visit for real in Brittany and imagine living in the ones on the map above!!
Brittany – the heart of rural France so the setting is perfect even before the castle comes into view. Then the castle does come into view:

Yes this castle is a renovation project. Still,where there’s renovation, there’s potential…isn’t there?

To be left a castle in any shape or form is pretty amazing. So, if you like a good renovation project where the person’s life needs just as much renovation as the chateau itself, then this is the visit to France to fix all that and more!
