The house is something out of an Agatha Christie novel ( and this is no bad thing ) for the plot and setting are just like that old fashioned and golden age of mysteries.
There’s the old house and the dark woods outside, a house full of strangers and in an isolates setting plotting crimes and discussing murder cases for fun…until one happens for real.
The Writers retreat and the locations are sadly fictional yet entirely realistic and the landscape of the books is centered around Northumberland, Kimmerston and Alnmouth which are featured on the book trail map below.
Imagine the days of old and the great crime settings of an enclose house where one of the party is the killer and the reader is the one to unmask him….alongside Vera and her acerbic Northern wit of course.
