Tucked away in the idyllic English countryside, Daisy Fischer’s cosy little cottage has always been her safe haven. But when her completely dependable boyfriend issues her an ultimatum, Daisy realises there’s a whole world out there she’s missing out on.
Florence Cortes’s life couldn’t be better – gorgeous apartment right on the beach, fabulous job and dreamy boyfriend, or so she thought. Suddenly, Flo’s life isn’t so perfect after all.
When the girls house swap for the holidays… and the locations are swapped, Daisy goes to the hot city of Barcelona and Flo comes into the cold. But both places have suprises for both girls!

Cheshire
The town of Tippermere in Cheshire might be fictional but you can feel the chill in the air and the warmth of the roaring fire. It’s a cute little village but its giving Daisy doubts as to whether she wants the cosy warmth of the future mapped out for her or whether she wants to follow her adventure. Village life is not for everyone but when Flo arrives from Barcelona, things are tipped on their heads.
Barcelona
Much of the action takes place here and it’s the complete opposite of Tippermere in every way you can imagine. It’s hot for one, and it’s where adventure is waiting for her. Flo meanwhile can’t wait to get away. Sometimes you just need to escape the heat. Daisy on the other hand, discovers that she likes the heat and is even attracted to it.
So the swap, like the one in The Holiday with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz takes place.
