What a dream to honeymoon in Bali? On the Tebing Terjal cliffs near The Blue Fin Restaurant (both ficiional thank goodness!) Two couplles, one dead body.
The Ulluwatu resort and beach are very real though and obviously inspired the novel although hopefully not in the exact way the book plays out. You think this is paradise – it’s all well evoked with palm trees, cliff views and a tropical storm but then….
The rest of the novel plays out on line or in the UK but this is not important location wise – Bali is where the action is at!
