Travel Guide

London

Most of the story takes place in London in and around the Natural History Museum. There’s a few interesting characters here such as Mr Clout, the security guard and his hobnailed boots and Dotty, the cleaning lady who is “is daft as her brushes”.

The Professor used to work at the museum until an experiment went very wrong……

Then there’s Lady Buckshot who shoots many animals in Africa and brings them back to the museum to be put on display.  Sir Ray Lankester is the museum’s portly director.

So what of the woolly mammoth who used to live in the Arctic and who now lives in the museum? This is an adventure which takes you from the London streets all the way to the frozen north and it’s an  adventure into the magical world of the woolly mammoth.
