What you need to know before your trail

Struggling to come to terms with the suicide of her teenage son, Ellie lives in the shadows of the Forth Road Bridge, where her son Logan ended his life. She goes to the bridge and spends time there to be close to him and to wonder what drove a young boy of 13, her own son to end his life when there was no sign of depression, anxiety or anything else which might start to explain why he died.

One day she talks down another suicidal teenager, Sam, and sees for herself a shot at redemption, the chance to atone for her son’s death.

But even with the best intentions, she can’t foresee the situation she’s falling headlong into – a troubled family, with some very dark secrets of their own.
