The book is mainly set in a counsellors office so there are no locations as such. That is all you’re going to need though frankly with the level of mind games going on here! The sense of being in an office, alone with a man who wants to harm your daughter is one thing….the mind games something else. Who has the most secrets to protect from their past? How did these two people end up in one room?
The author himself lives in Brighton and Susannah in the book also talks of her days out there so the map shows a few places you might want to visit.
Brighton Beach and the pier are the nice places Susannah has memories of. There’s plenty of games in the pier arcade if you need a break from the games going on in the minds of the characters!
