Melody Janie is hidden. She lives alone in a caravan in Bones Break: a small cliff-top on Cornwall’s north coast. She spends her time roaming her territory, spying on passing tourists and ramblers, and remembering. She sees everything and yet remains unseen.
However, when a stranger enters her life, she is forced to confront not only him but the terrible tragedies of her past.

A family lives in Petroc on the north coast of Cornwall. They run a small cafe but within the family there are problems. The mother suffers from mental health issues and she suffers to live day to day.
Daughter Melody Jane has her own struggles and wants to protect the cafe and the land where it is located – on the Lip – the cliff edge.
This is the Cornwall not on the tourist maps. It is dark, isolated and a disturbing place to be.
