You will be sad to know that the little village of Vigornuovo is sadly fictional. When it’s cute and medieval as well! Hotel Splendido equally so. But Venice and Florence more than make up for it!

ooh we do get a very arty visit to the city as one character is dying to go to the Uffizi Gallery and we get a lovelu tour and insight into this place thanks to her.

A sight to behold. You can make your way around the city as the characters in the book do. They visit many of the key sites such as St Mark’s Square and take the gondola.
