What you need to know before your trail

Former SAS soldier, Dan Green finds out that his son has been brutally murdered by the Russian Mafia in Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol. To make matters even worse, if indeed that is possible, the Spanish police seem powerless to act.

He feels he has no option left but to take the matter into his own hands and so recruits an old army friend to help. They both head off on a revenge mission determined to get to the truth and to those responsible for his son’s death.

But the hunted are not prepared to be the prey this time, and the criminals are determined to keep it that way

Travel Guide

Costa del Sol

This is a chase, a desperate search for the truth, a chase from Spain to Moscow, London and back again but the main setting here, the one focused on in the map is Marbella and the port of Puerto Banús just along the coast. The main city here and the main link for the airport is nearby Malaga so this appears as the contact o=point for all the adventures.

The chase and the search for the truth is dangerous – these are people who live in the shadows of the Costa del Sol which has always had a reputation for criminality as well as nice sunny holidays of course. This is a fictional image of course but the Costa Del Sol did used to be known as the Costa Del Crime…

Puerto Banus

Described in the novel as Spain’s Flashiest port. Cassie has reinvented herself here and in a town where that seems to be the order of the day.

She takes a job in a Puerto Banus boutique but despite the money flying around down there, the pay is not so good. She lives in a rundown flat on the wrong side of Marbella so the two sides of this place show themselves side by side
