Then Jane is sent away to serve Katharine of Aragon, the Queen of England and the wife of Henry VIII and is once again thrown into a world where women’s lives are cheap, where women and brides can be cast aside on a whim, and where power is entirely in the hands of a man.

Travel Guide

Wolf Hall

The home of Jane Seymour, and the home where Henry VIII once stayed and met Jane who would become his third wife.

This was a house which later became the home of Thomas Cromwell , the King’s’ ruthless advisor and the name which is also well known for being the title of another famous novel by Hilary Mantel.

The actual house has been lost to history but there is a family house which still exists and which is a bit run down now but which still has underground passages, timber frames and a lot of history to go with it.

When the Seymour family left Wolf Hall , the servants stayed on afterwards It was then largely demolished in 1665 to build nearby Tottenham House. The Television drama of the same name was actually filmed various National Trust properties

Palace

The Palace of Greenwich was where Jane moves to in order to look after Catherine o fAragon and Bridewell priory where the king and Queen move in to during the trail that will decide their future. This is a heart wrenching time for Jane and a dangerous one where each move could be her last and where she sees what is happening to women who are accused of a crime against a man.

The Seymour curse it seems has followed her to London.
