Why a Booktrail?
2000s: Well it takes place in the stunning archipelago so that’s the main reason but the high level of violence is not for the faint hearted!

Stockholm, Sweden: the lifeless body of a young woman is discovered on an abandoned boat. Later, a man is found hanging alone in his apartment.
Should the deaths be treated as suicide or murder? Only four people know the answer. And one man wants them dead.
Can Detective Inspector Joona Linna keep them alive long enough to find out the truth?
A nightmare visit to Stockholm is the setting here and it’s strange to see such a beautiful and stunning setting as this one – Penelope sails round Kungshamn lighthouse and harbour, sees the bridge at Skuru Sound, visits Goose Island for an ice-cream. These locations could be part of a longer booktrail as they really are settings where you will definitely be having good dreams about rather than a nightmare!
Grevgatan 2 – where a Director of a company has not appeared for work in the novel and which is described as having tall Art Nouveau doorways. Such detail as this brings the place to life as well as showcasing the more intricate parts of Stockholm design and architecture.
Such beautiful settings make the horrific nature of the book all the more scary and raw.
