The amazing true story of a unique Russian painter
The Noisy Paintboxtells the story of Moscow-born Vasily Kandinsky. Bored with his studies of the traditional maths, science and history, it’s not until an aunt gives him a box of paints that the young Kandinsky finds his true passion in life. Kandinsky doesn’t see colours like other children do however – he also hears them – a neurological phenomenon now known as “synesthesia.”
What does this mean and can he become a painter despite his differences?
