Winterbourne orchard is of course fictional but it shows the kind of orchard and farm where many girls worked and lived during the war.
The town of Wiveliscombe sounds a bit like Winterbourne – and there are lots of wooded areas, farms and orchards around it, so a good spot to visit anyway.
