What you need to know before your trail

Tess  meets Greg, a high profile pediatric heart surgeon, when she is sent to  photograph him. They fall in love and they, together with  Tess’ nine year old son they move with Greg back to his hometown of Boston, USA. Tess is pregnant and so there is more than one new life starting.

However Tess hasn’t been there long when despite living in a nice part of Boston often feels lonely and homesick. But that’s nothing compared to the unsettling things that keep happening in the house. Joe seems very unhappy and the next door neighbours seem odd. Greg is hardly ever around and as the baby’s birth looms, Tess is starting to feel stranger and stranger.

Travel Guide

Boston

Talk about moving to the other side of the world!

Tess moves from England to Boston so already the stage is set for feelings of a woman who is alone, in a foreign country and feeling a bit detached from home and her former life. The feelings that doesn’t understand how things work in America, the little everyday things will be familiar to any one who’s been in this position. Not really being sure of anything. Add to that, being pregnant, looking after Joe, preparing for the new baby and trying to connect with Greg, and there’s a recipe for disaster.

This is a story about feeling away from home, distant from your new home and feeling adrift in a sea of confusion.
