2000s: Sometimes the allure of Cornwall is just too strong to resist
Two years ago the death of his wife drove Aiden Taylor from UK shores and now death has drawn him back. His father-in -law is to be buried and he’s here to support the remainder of her family; her mum, Lily and sister, Leo.
As he flies home, he meets Isabella on the same plane. She is like no one he’s met before. They talk and she learns of his history but she can’t fight the attraction she feels.
Isabelle finds that she can’t forget the stranger on the plane so she heads to Cornwall in order to find him. But soon worlds will collide that no-one could have expected.
The book is set in North Cornwall but many of the places mentioned in the book are in South Cornwall. Port Levine is fictional but sounds very much like Porthleven in the south so we’ve put that on the map. In North Cornwall, Padstow is a major attraction and the landscape around here is stunning.
North Cornwall stretches for over forty miles from Bude to Perranporth and the landscape all along this area is as rugged as they come. Imagine Aiden and Isabella coming here and trying to find each other.
