What you need to know before your trail

Ten years ago, Ella’s sister Miranda disappeared without trace, leaving her young baby behind. At thirty, Miranda’s age when she vanished, Ella looks uncannily like the sister she idolized. What holds Ella together is her love for her sister’s child and her work as a self-defence expert helping victims.

Investigations have led to the horrifying possibility that Jason Thorne, now in prison for murdering several women could be linked to Miranda in some way.

Could Thorne have taken Miranda, and driven by her nephew’s longing to know about his mother, Ella will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth – no matter how dangerous…

Travel Guide

Bath

Little sense of place in this novel but references to Bath – or ‘the outskirts of Bath’ and to the Georgian terraces in the honey coloured city. There is a vagueness to the whole setting which adds to the confusion of having one sister go missing and never knowing what really happens….what about the prisoner? Links to a nice set of sisters living in the heart of England, a nice and historic place.

If you do go to Bath – a few places to visit :

Pulteney Bridge

The Gravel Walk

The Royal Crescent

And let’s hope you don’t meet any of the characters in the novel! Especially Jason.
