2000s: The secrets women keep or the secrets husbands keep?
Rose is waiting for her family to arrive at their villa in Tuscany. She casually looks down when a message pops up on her husband’s phone and the message says ‘Miss you. Love you. Come back soon.’ Who on earth is writing to him like that? She knows that Daniel can be a bit of a charmer and is a sure hit with the ladies but this?
That’s not the only thing she has on her mind. As the family arrive at the villa, things are coming to a head and relationships are going to be very tested indeed.
The dark outline of the doorway frame a section of the sun-drenched garden beyond, the brilliance of the outdoor colours such a contrast to the house’s shady interior”
Welcome to Tuscany and the delightful Casa Rosa with its station clock above the mantel piece Once a dilapidated shell but now a renovated farmhouse renovated with love.Set on the hillside, the views are stunning and an ideal place for a holiday. And for opening a pandoras box it would seem.
But as you wait for the drama to unfold, there’s the view and the scents of the Tuscany countryside to enjoy. Rose cooks at the huge kitchen stove and you can smell the rosemary and olive oil, see the earthenware bowls and the green and black lizard slithering between the flower pot of pink geraniums. Something skulking in the background of such beauty. There is a storm cloud ahead.
