2000s: You’ll not want to go back to school after this!
An exclusive Devon school – and now a crime scene for the body of the head teacher is found hanging from the rafters in the assembly hall. What the police don’t yet know is that he had received a mysterious package, a book no less which carried a message only he knew what it meant. And he knew it meant the end.
This is only the first strange death to happen in and around the city of Exeter and there seems to be no link, no rhyme or reason behind it. Only there is, there really is. You just have to look a little closer at the teacher’s comments for someone has an awful lot to say.
The Churchill School for Boys in Exeter is a prestigious establishment with history and heritage pouring through every brick. There’s a link back to the war when it was bombed by the Luftwaffe and everyone in the school is made aware of what an important place this is to be.
Such a posh and privilege place but what goes on behind the scenes. What kind of teachers teach at the school. Hannibal Lector might not be far off. This environment is not for the faint- hearted, not for those who aren’t prepared to find what they find. There are some sick people in this world and some of them are in plain sight in schools and other settings where trust is the key.
