Travel Guide

From Cornwall to Greenland

There’s not many novels that you can say include Cornwall, Greenland, ice bergs and polar bears!

Greenland

Nuuk is a real town of course and the centre of climate research is kind of real!

St Piran

Not a real village sadly but a saint. St Piran is associated with many places in Cornwall, including Perranporth, Perranzabuloe, and St Piran’s Cross.  St Piran built his oratory, a small chapel, on Perranporth Beach. The remains of the oratory are submerged in sand. This could well be St Piran beach in the novel
