Ireland can mean so many things – from the stereotypes of leprechauns to the modern day city that is Dublin. Of course the country has evolved since the 1960s but this general tour takes you around in a way that you discover its history as well as its present, mixing them up in a tour with a difference

Originally a tour guide for children, this is a lot more than that. Fun facts include that at the time there were more cows than people in Ireland and that ‘there is a lot of green’. Not sure if the cow fact is still true but fun to find out.

There is a fun pub fact however just to modernise the comparison – more than 1000 pubs in the city of Dublin compared to 1 million people….Probably changed since that figure was found as well.

Dublin is a delight to visit – bustling crowds, tall steeples, and Trinity College. The historical places are visited with fun facts too –  there’s Clonmacnois, the burial place of kings and the Blarney Stone to kiss for eloquence
