Travel Guide

The Windmill in the novel

The windmill, the characters and the events of the novel are are fictional. The windmill was however inspired by the beautiful Jack Windmill at Clayton in East Sussex. It’s close to where the author grew up and you can tell this landscape is what she knows and understands really well.

There is a little chapel on the stone floor and a very spooky tunnel apparently……
