A novel to transport you to Iceland

Somehow Lilja manages to write a sequel to three crime books that carries on themes and characters from the earlier additions yet makes it very different.

This time, there’s a unique set of characters including a drag queen called Lady Gúgúlú,. She’s a lodger in a flat owned by policeman Daniel. Well, when she goes missing, all hell breaks loose as there is clearly something that is behind this disappearance.

That’s not the only strange thing going on here – Arora meanwhile meets a child who says she is the reincarnation of her lost sister. Now, which other writer could make something from these two situations and create a gripping and dark crime novel?

This is Iceland in winter so the streets are darker than normal. We are approaching spring but the darkness seems to stretch on for ever….
