Home for Christmas – Heidi Swain
Home for Christmas – Heidi Swain
There is always a good time to read Heidi Swain but Christmas is especially good! I recently met her at the Women’s Fiction Festival in Edinburgh having admired her for years. Very exciting! So, I wanted to read her new book. I have saved it for nearer Christmas however. Today is the day!
Off to Wynbridge I go!

A novel to transport you to Wynbridge at Christmas
Heidi Swains’ Books
his is the equivalent of a Hallmark movie in a book but with added charm and a personal touch of friendship. There’s a lot less cheese as well – just cosy vibes and the feeling of a warm hug.
I’ve visited Heidi’s fictional setting – Wynbridge – before and it was a pure delight to return at Christmas time! Bella loves Christmas so I thought she would be the perfect person to spend time with to get me out of my humbug ways. Nah, I’m hardly Scrooge but Bella LOVES Christmas so much so that she has a company called ‘Away with the Fairies’ where she makes little personalised fairies. Well, when she gets an unexpected house guest in the form of Jude who hates the festive season, sparks of all kinds are going to fly!
This book made me feel like it was hugging me and letting me have a nice Christmas with the people within. When can you get engrossed in a slow burn romance if not at Christmas? I’d love to spend time in Wynbridge at Christmas for real!
Bella’s lovely spaniel Tink might just be what I need to help me!
