Merry Christmas from The BookTrail
Merry Christmas
Christmas really is the best time for reading. Seeing family and friends too of course but books are something very special. Cosy reading when it’s snowing or raining outside is one of the best things in life, even better if you have a hot drink and a slice of cake beside you.
Thank you to everyone who has visited TheBookTrail this year.
Thank you to everyone who has sent books in, submitted suggestions and more.
So many thanks to readers who have sent questions, comments, kind words and encouraging words – you are the best!
Many thanks to the authors who have given their time to write articles, chat and generally shout about books.
Hugs to all the friends I have made thanks to this website.
I owe you big time to the publicists, editors, agents and booky people that send proofs, book information, map entries and so much more so that this site is the best it can be. Your generosity is endless and I appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Shoutout to the booksellers and bookshops who always make me feel welcome. I have a local and it’s a bookshop and it’s my happy place.
So lucky to be invited to so many book events – 2025 is already looking booked up!
Authors – you amaze me every day with your kindness, general brilliance and love of your stories and others’. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
Book bloggers/friends – you guys, where would I be without you? This community ROCKS.
No Best of Books this year as it’s getting harder and harder each year. A few honours however in The BookTrail Awards and something fun along similar lines in the New Year. All books are years of hard work, pain and anguish, love and hope and if you write a book and finish it, I salute you.
Merry Christmas everyone!
